The labels above that pertain to areas for businesses are C-1 (Commercial 1), C-2 (Commercial 2), MW-1 and MW-2 (Waterfront Area).
How To Register Your Business in Port Jefferson
Step 1: Review & Submit Your Business Registration Application
The Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson provides a thorough Business Registration Application Packet detailing the registration process. CLICK HERE to view it.
Step 2: Schedule and Get A Fire Inspection
Once you submit the Business Registration Application with the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson Bureau of Fire Prevention, they will reach out to schedule a fire inspection. Once the inspection is complete, correct any noted code violations (if any). When you pass the fire inspection, you will be notified when your business registration is complete.
Step 3: Set A Business Registration Reminder
The business registration is valid for 3 years. Make sure to set yourself a reminder to do such in the future.
